The cottages have earned 4 1/2 stars. (4 Stars: Exceptional accommodations with an extensive range of facilities, guest amenities and services. Half stars are awarded to properties whose overall quality of facilities exceeds their specific category star rating.) Three kinds of lodging options await at Trout Point: in the massive log and stone main lodge, 7 junior suites (400+ sq. ft.) & one suite (700+ sq. ft.), all with river views, log walls, handcrafted furniture, and no TVs or WiFi; a comfy room or the vast Forest Suite (1800 sq. ft.) in a riverside chalet, both with TVs, WiFi, & outdoor sitting areas; or in lakeside cottages with lots of space, TVs, WiFi, living rooms, and full kitchens. The Main Lodge is described here; for the other options see the navigation bar above.

The Main Lodge
An architectural master piece made from giant Eastern Spruce logs featuring full scribe notch and dovetail joinery, chiseled granite and sandstone, Trout Point's main lodge celebrates the Great Camps erected along the U.S. & Canadian Eastern Seaboard in the early 20th century. This three-story structure houses guest facilities, the Great Room, mezzanine library, dining rooms, kitchen, two bars, and recreational facilities on the banks of two wilderness rivers. Replete with mica and Tiffany lamps, oriental rugs, log & twig furniture, and extensive indoor and outdoor public areas, Trout Point is the ideal nature retreat. All spacious guest rooms in the Great Lodge feature log walls & beam ceilings and full amenities. Many have hand-cut stone fireplaces and porches or patios, as do the Great Room and the two dining venues.
